Eligibility Criteria:

It is compulsory for the applicant to submit his/her application accompanied by the following documents:

  •  Formal Application Form duly filled in and signed in the prescribed proforma.
  • Certified true copies of the applicant’s birth certificate, passport, PAN card, and residence proof.
  • Self attested copies of certificates of all matriculation examinations attended (if applicable).
  • Self attested photocopies of all relevant documents including the passport size photograph.
  • Copy of bank statement or receipt of the last three months, and copies of the last two years income tax return and salary slips of the applicant.
  • Two recent passport size photographs.

How to Apply:

Applicants must go to www.hec.gov.pk to fill out an application for the examination. In order to apply, applicants must first register on the site. To apply, they must pay a fee of Rs. 500. This will be refunded if they are selected to appear for the exam. They will also need to pay the application fee. They can pay by paying to a bank account or by using a credit card. The application form can be downloaded from the HEC website. Once the application is complete, applicants can print it out or type it up in a word processor. Then they must send this information to the HEC website. This can be done through the Internet or by sending a hard copy.

Important Note:

The Pakistan government will be awarding a scholarship to the families of the victims of the August 8, 2016 terrorist attacks in Quetta. Scholarships will be awarded based on the criteria stipulated in the Quetta Martyrs Fund (QMF) Bill 2016. According to the bill, the scholarships will be awarded to the children of martyred or severely injured victims of the attack who have applied for admission to the law schools at the Public Sector Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized institutions.

The scholarships will be provided to the children of the victims who have applied for admission to the postgraduate program in the legal field. In case of non-availability of children of victims, scholarships will be awarded to the other eligible students.

03 January 2024 is the last date for application submission. Applicants are asked to make sure that all information is correct before they submit the application. Any false or inaccurate information can result in cancellation of the scholarship. Scholarships are granted only to those who meet all eligibility criteria. Scholarships are offered to the applicants who are serving or already working. Scholarships are awarded only to those applicants who meet the required criteria.

HEC doesn’t award scholarships to applicants who don’t qualify for the scholarships or who don’t meet all the criteria for the scholarships. Scholarships are offered to the students who are from the legal profession, law-related fields. Applicants who are already employed must submit a no-objection certificate.
