The college has been approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and is affiliated with Punjab University, Lahore. The admission procedure for PIMS College of Nursing is based on the entrance test which is conducted annually. The test measures a student’s ability to think critically and solve problems.
The entrance test for PIMS College of Nursing is divided into two parts- written exam and interview. The written exam consists of objective questions that are based on topics such as anatomy, physiology, nutrition, pharmacology, etc. The interview portion assesses a student’s communication skills and problem solving ability.
In order to prepare for the entrance test, students must first obtain a score of at least 45% in their intermediate level examination or equivalent grade in GCSE/GED/A-Level subjects relevant to nursing.
