Eligibility Criteria and Documents:
The Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore invites both male and female applicants from the Punjab province to apply for the available positions on a contract basis. Initially, the appointment will be for a term of three years, extendable subject to good performance. To be considered for the positions, applicants must complete the application form along with attested copies of their educational certificates (such as MTN, FSC, etc.), degrees, and diplomas.
A valid CNIC, a copy of the domicile, work experience certificates (if any), and two latest passport-size photographs must also be submitted in the office of the Medical Superintendent. For applicants who possess a “0” level, an equivalence certificate must also be submitted. Applicants must present their original documents at the time of the interview. Age relaxation in the upper age limit as per the Govt. of Punjab, S&GAD Notification and Recruitment Policy, 2022, i.e., 10 years for female candidates and 7 years for male candidates, shall be granted, and quotas shall be observed as per the Recruitment Policy.
Recruitment shall be made solely on merit in accordance with the “Contract Appointment Policy 2004” or “Recruitment Policy 2022” and instructions issued from time to time by the Government of Punjab. Individuals who are already in government service should apply through their departments and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Incomplete applications as well as those received after the closing date will not be entertained in any case.
The authority reserves the right to cancel, increase, or decrease the number of posts at any level without assigning any reason. No travel allowance/daily allowance shall be allowed for appearance in any test or interview.
Candidates are strongly advised to carefully review and confirm that they meet all the requirements for the post as outlined in the Punjab government’s recruitment policy for 2022 before submitting their applications. During the selection process, the candidates will be evaluated in accordance with the “Selection Criteria for Appointment” outlined in the same policy.
Furthermore, selection committees may devise written or practical tests to evaluate the capabilities of the candidates and assign marks accordingly. The interview or test of the candidates for the mentioned posts will take place in the office of the Medical Superintendent, Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Lahore.
