If you want to join the Pakistan Air Force as an officer, the registration process begins at www.joinpaf.gov.pk. Once registered, you will be required to take an Intelligence Test, followed by an academic Test in relevant subjects at the respective I & SC. After this, an initial medical examination and interview will be conducted at the same I & SC. Shortlisted candidates will then be required to take a Psychological Test.
After this, the First AHQ Special Selection Board will conduct an interview. The process will conclude with a Final medical examination at CMB, Lahore and an Interview/Final Selection by the Second AHQ Special Selection Board. Qualification:
Physicians with a minimum of 2nd Division or equivalent qualification and specialization in any of the following disciplines from a Pakistani/Foreign medical college/university recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM & DC /PMC) are eligible for MBBS: Urologist with FCPS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board, Gastroenterologist with FCPS/FRCP/Diplomat American Board/MD, Orthopedic Surg with FCPS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board, Pulmonologist with FCPS/FRCP/ Diplomat American Board/ MD, and Neuro Surgeon with FCPS/FRCS/MRCS.
The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council is the official body responsible for regulating medical education and practice in the country. Thus MBBS qualification is only valid if it is awarded by a college/university recognized by the PM & DC/PMC.
