Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) Karachi now offers admission for the Spring 2024 intake for Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral level programs. MAJU is a private sector university with Mian Amir Mehmood, ex-Nazim of Lahore city, as its chancellor. Higher learning programs include Masters of Science in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Economics and Finance, Management Sciences, Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Computer Science.

Required:

Admission to any institution of higher learning requires a set of documents that help the admission office evaluate and accept applications. The records required for access to a particular institution may vary; however, some documents are more commonly needed than others. For admission to a college or university, applicants must typically provide the following:

• Attested copies of all their testimonials.
• A copy of their hope certificate (for students awaiting results).
• An attested copy of their CNIC or Form “B”.
• Four recent colored photographs.

In addition, international students are typically required to provide a no objection certificate (NOC) from the respective embassy or consulate, the Federal Ministry of Education, or the Federal Ministry of Interior. It is essential to ensure that all documents are complete and accurate, as any discrepancies or omissions could lead to the application being rejected or delayed.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants applying for a Bachelor of Science in Engineering program must have achieved at least 60% marks in F.Sc Pre-Engineering or an equivalent examination. Those with ICS qualifications are only eligible to apply for Electronic Engineering. Similarly, those looking to apply for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science must have achieved at least 45% marks in F.Sc/DAE with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer.

Students must study Mathematics at the intermediate level, as admission into the BS CS program will not be granted without this qualification. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that applicants ensure they are well-prepared and have met all the requirements before applying.

If you are looking to apply for admission in BS Finance & Economics, Bioinformatics & BBA programs, you must have a minimum of 45% marks in Intermediate or equivalent. For the MBA (3.5 years) and MBA (2 years) programs, a minimum of 45% marks in a 14-year Bachelor’s degree is required. Additionally, for the MBA (2-year) program, professional work experience will also be considered. For the MS and MBA (1.5 years) programs, a 16-year education is necessary. Lastly, if you are looking to apply for a PhD, you must have a minimum of 3.00/4.00 CGPA in a relevant 18-year degree.
