The Test Dates are 01/04/2023, 02/04/2023. The recruitment process will be completed through National Testing Service (NTS). The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and have applied for the said post can appear for the NTS test. The Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan is a constitutional body responsible for the appointment of judges to the higher judiciary in Pakistan. The commission is headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan and comprises four other members, two each from the bar and the bench.
The commission was established through the 18th Amendment to the Constitution, which was passed by the Parliament of Pakistan in 2010. The amendment replaced the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, which had been established through a presidential order in 1999.
The commission is responsible for the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Federal Shariat Court and the five High Courts of Pakistan. It also has the power to remove judges from office on the grounds of misconduct or incapacity.
